Limited edition of 1500 hundred copies of which 500 for sale in England, which were not numbered, and 1000 in the USA, and this copy signed by Clare Leighton. Hard cover with cream vellum spine and decorative boards with wear to corners. Titles on the spine which is slightly discoloured and has a horizontal tear across part of the lower spine which has been partly repaired. Illustrations from 12 woodcuts by Clare Leighton including frontispiece, xv, 485 untrimmed pages.
