SIGNED BY THOMAS MERTON AND SIX OTHER TRAPPIST MONKS. Original tweed burlap cloth in fine condition. A UNIQUE COPY PRESENTED TO A FINANCIAL SUPPORTER OF GETHSEMANE ABBEY. The book is signed opposite the title page to the recipient "in appreciattion for his generous aid on the occasion of the 100th anniversary celebration, June 1, 1949 of the Abbey of Our Lady Gethsemani". THe book is then signed by Merton (as Fr. M. Louis), Abbot Dom James Fox, popular author Fr. M. Raymond, Bro. M. Clement, Fr. M. Placid, and Fr. M Joachim (the subject of the biography THE MAN WHO GOT EVEN WITH GOD). A one-of-a-kind Merton work.
