New Edition, two volumes in one, xv, 376; 411pp, index, illustrated with one hundred original drawings by Henry Brokman. TEG. Extremities lightly worn, small bookplate at front pastedown, and very small bookplate at front fly, else VG. Gilt lettering and design very bright. Tipped in on the title page is a signature of the author with the notation - New York, Feb 4, 1898. The author was born in Italy, and after being away for a number of years, returned in 1883 to make it his permanent home.
