Also a Colour Tipped-in Plate of Hunting scenes from the Treasury of Venerey, 1394. Title page has a vignette illus. Most illustrations are in text andsome Monochrome Full-page Plates. Almost all the illustrations are of hunting, fishing & birding scenes, from horseback or on foot. All manner of game including bears, wolves, wild boar, wild cat, porcupine, owls, badgers, Deer, and much more. Dark Blue cloth cover with Bright Gilt Deer hunting scene on front with Gilt lettering above. Gilt Lettering on spine. Top page edges Gilt, other edges untrummed. 423 pages, 3 Kilos, 13" Tall. Tear to cloth down right side of spine from the bottom (about 5" long) which also goes across the spine. Small tears to cloth with some fraying at spine ends. Front hinge cracked. Text block firm. No inscriptions apart from the author's.Pages and illustrations in very good, clean condition, only an occasional small spot of foxing. Weight 3 Kilos so Shipping Outside UK will be extra.
