This Baseball Hall of Famer (elected 1983) managed the Brooklyn (later Los Angeles) Dodgers from 1954 to 1976, bringing them four world championships. "Best wishes Donald / from / Walt Alston" large and bold in blue ballpoint, irregular 4½" X 2" slip, n.p., n.y. [ca. 1960]. Very good. Several tape stains at corners end edges, not affecting signature but touching couple letters of inscription. Despite flaw, rather attractive. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 21561
