This striking, beautifully rendered re-publication, designed by Satoshi Machiguchi in close cooperation with Moriyama, makes for a timeless, limited edition Moriyama collector's piece. The book includes a companion magazine with a retrospective essay by Moriyama as well as details and backgrounds for each single photobook (compiled exclusively for this publication). The English edition of the companion magazine opens with an edited English translation of Daido Moriyama s conversation with Takuma Nakahira, originally included in Japanese in the 1972 release and never before translated. Photobook with silkscreened cover printed on canvas (122 pages). Dimensions: 12 � 9 inches. Hardcover. 280 pages. Published 2019.
