Beschreibung
The influence of abstract expressionists such as Robert Motherwell and Cy Twombly is unmistakable in the best work of this American painter; he works mainly on paper, but is also known for sculpture and conceptual art, and his work is held in many museums. Original ink and pastel drawing, heavy stock 3" X 5", n.p., 1976. Fine. Typical exuberant tiny abstract with black ink framing in pale orange and pinkish red portions, on the lower margin of which he signs a miniscule "Slotnick 76" in pencil; he also dates the verso "1976" in pencil.
