Tiny scratch along bottom edge of front cover. Very tiny nick barely visible on rear edge of spine. Slight discoloration involving lower front corner, again barely visible. Generally covers are clean and tight. Title page corner has some erasure marks. Author's signature on blank page following copyright page. Also former owner's stamp and several words in pencil. Interior otherwise unmarked. Photos. A very interesting book by a Japanese Christian teacher on the conditions she faced in Japan during and after World War II. Binding is tight and square.
