This copy is in good condition for its age. There is moderate discoloration and staining, edgewear and creasing, there are several tears on the spine and one 2" tear which affects the front cover as well. Text is dirty but complete. This copy appears to be signed and inscribed by author on front cover "Mr Ogden Hoffman from his old 'fellow soldier'" The reason we say appears to be is there is no signature, but the end of the 'r' in 'soldier' leads down to the authors name and the "by" has been crossed out.
