An eminent figure who received the highest tributes from Arithemius, Baldus, Forster and Bellarmin, his principal writings circulated widely in manuscript and were among the earliest printed works on canon law. Often included in editions of the Corpus Juris Canonici, the Super Arboribus is a fundamental treatise on degrees of consanguinity and affinity, also known as blood relations, and spiritual relationships created by god.
