The illustration and lettering on the front panel, spine, rear panel, and flaps, are all bright, clean, and very well-preserved. The original price of $24.00 is present on the front flap. A "SIGNED COPY" sticker is present on the front panel. The book itself is in very good plus condition. Minor shelf wear at the top of the spine, with no bumping or scuffing to the corners. The silver lettering on the front board and spine is bright and clean. The text block is bright, clean, and complete. The binding is tight. A beautiful, signed edition of one of the greatest works of American fiction published in the last 50 years. O'Brien's stories provide one of the most vivid and subtle views ever written into the minds of those who fought in Vietnam and returned home to a country they did not recognize.
