The classic book about the ocean liners of the North Atlantic from 1900 onwards. The famous ships, their passengers, their construction design and propulsion. "A nostalgic yet faithful recreation of a more gracious era." Nearly 200 illustrations. It is signed by the Author on the 1/2 title page. The book has very minor spotting to page edges and some very slight marks to top and bottom of boards, but is otherwise VG. The dust jacket is bright and clean apart from some marking to rear. it has a 1/2 inch closed tear to rear bottom and some minor nicks and creases. A triangle 2" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" has been removed from top of front inside flap of dj (price clipped?) Unfortunately, the dust jacket unfolds to form a poster and the price clipping leave a triangle double that size missing from the left centre of the poster. Otherwise the dustjacket is near VG.
