A very good copy in the publisher's brown cloth. The binding is clean, retaining strong gilt lettering to the front board, although any lettering that may have been on the spine is now gone. Light overall wear. Everything is square and tight. The text block is clean, with no markings. However, what makes this copy of an already scarce volume even more attractive is the fact that it is inscribed and signed by the author. "Presented to Mr. C. E. Wright by the author Edward Powers". Additionally there is a contemporary Victorian-era photograph pasted to the front board, which I take to be of Powers, although I have no way of guaranteeing that.
