Includes a Memoir of the author's life followed an extensive Bibliography and Catalogues. Illustrated with 12 photogravures, 32 other plates (including one folding plate) and fifteen vignette engravings, with full plates tissue-protected. Half cloth, with vellum-colored spine and muted blue paper covered boards, gilt spine lettering, lovely and thick deckle-edged paper, untrimmed edges, (xiv, 368 + plates). Fair to good condition, externally fair, with frayed extremities and bumped corners, vertical crease to spine covering, front hinge internally neatly reglued, text block sound, some pages a little fingerprinted at the beginning of the book, otherwise clean with the plates a bit more yellowed that then text pages, no names or other markings. .
