Covers rubbed at the extremities, spines dried with minor surface chips but archivally stabilized, other expected wear, good joints/hinges, sound text blocks, clean pages, handwritten poem on front free endpaper of first volume signed Samuel Chace (or Chase), other names on title page including Robert Penn.
