French philosopher Georges Bataille's copy with his ex libris on front free endpaper; inscribed in the year of his death. Bound in publisher's boards with cloth backstrip. Very Good+ with bumped corners, toning to boards. 39 illustrations from Man Ray; one of only 500 copies printed.
