First edition, first printing. Signed by Robert L. Ripley and inscribed to a former owner on the front free endpaper. Bound in publisher's original grayish-green cloth stamped in red; lacking the dust jacket. Very Good with light fading to spine, light rubbing to extremities and several bumped to edges. Pages toned, sporadically thumbed, and light waviness to rear pages. A nice copy, signed by the cartoonist and amateur anthropologist who compiled odd facts from around the world for his newspaper panel, radio and television shows.
