Very Good (covers nice; contents clean & tight but there is some light dampstaining to the upper corner for about half of the text, causing some rippling; some scattered foxing to edges); little edgewear (few short tears) d/j. This dust jacket is laminated and all copies may have been laminated (not sure but likely). So, little of lamination is coming off. Small quarto: dark-blue cloth, stamped in silver, in dust jacket; 206 pages First Edition. Signed presentation from both the author and illustrator on the front endpaper: "for Joanne Dixon and [???]. Much Aloha! Shelagh Scoville." With "Dearest Dixons- With all my love- [then sends her love in Hawaiian], Patsy." Uncommon to find copies signed by both, who were Hawaii residents. A agical tale involving a portly Himalayan cat with scholarly aspirations & his companions--Angie the Great Dane & Montague the rat--on an accidental adventure from their Honolulu home into outer space.
