In this violent struggle over rangeland at least 53,000 sheep, sixteen cowboys, 28 sheepmen died. This is the first book length account of this conflic. * The author is a history professor at Panola College in Carthage, Texas. He has written several books and more than two hundred articles on the west. * CONDITION: There are no major condition issues other than minor wear & chipping to the dustcover edges and spine.
