Dust jacket edges are worn; tear forming at front top right corner; rear bottom corner chipped with no obstruction to text. Rear jacket panel is discolored along edges; spine is lightly faded. Boards clean aside from bumping to spine bottom; corners sharp. Binding sound. Textblock and interior pages clean. Slipcase shows minor scuffing and bumping to corners and edges; otherwise clean. A Very Good copy in like jacket and slipcase. Signed and inscribed "For Joe and Dori with much love" by Garfield. Checkpoint Charlie compiles twelve short stories about CIA agent Charlie Dark.
