Stated First Edition with Number Line to 1. Flat-signed on the title page. Universal Pictures has acquired screen rights to 'Company', which will be adapted by Steve Pink who co-wrote Grosse Pointe Blank and High Fidelity. You can see the covers of the book in the photos. They are exceptionally clean. The edges and corners are in very good shape. The gilt lettering on the spine is very bright. There's a little crinkling at the spine ends. The book is square and very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The pages are exceptionally clean. I'm scrolling through them without finding any instances of soiling. I'm not finding any creasing. There are no markings. No attachments. And with the exception of the author's signature, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The inside covers and end papers are an interesting orange and black pattern, quite unusual. They are all in excellent condition. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It has an Autographed Copy sticker on the front. I just realized you can see the pattern of the inside covers an end papers on the spine of the jacket. There is a slight bit of discoloration just off the top edge of the front cover. There's a crinkle or two here and there, not much of anything, a speck of a spot near the bottom edge of the front cover. The front flap is orange and the rear flap is black. They both have the same shapes as the spine in the background. The flaps are in very good condition, very clean. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. From the dust jacket: 'At Zephyr Holdings, no one has ever seen the CEO. One of the sales reps uses relationship books as sales manuals, and another is on the warpath because somebody stole his donut.
