A tight, attractive first edition of this slim essay on the philosophy of corporations. Miller (1895-1988) was a California business executive and consultant to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations; he founded the Public Relations Society of America in 1946 and from 1949 to 1970 was visiting lecturer at Harvard Business School. Robert Malott (1926-2018) was a noted Chicago business leader, CEO of FMC Corporation, Republican politico and philanthropist.
