Dilip Kumar known to many as a film producer and philanthropist, yet he's best known for his work as an actor in Hindi cinema. Referred to as "The First Khan", Kumar has been credited with bringing method acting to Indian cinema. Notably Kumar holds the record for most wins for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor; Filmfare Awards being Hindi cinema's Academy Award equivalent.
