Signed and inscribed by Zane Grey to Lola Gornall on the front free endpaper in his signature purple ink: "First Book - To Lola from Zane." We assume that "first book" refers to the first book Grey presented and inscribed to Lola when they first connected. Zane Grey first met Lola Gornall, a poet living in Australia in April 1933.
