First edition of this classic work signed by the author. 6 x 9� pp. xxiii + 246 with 32 pages of photographs and 64 illustrations. Very good in blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Firm and tight, very slight foxing to ffep, small red stain on front edge, but otherwise clean and bright. In good+ dust wrapper which has slight foxing and a repaired 1" tear.
