Hardcover, no jacket present. Signed on the front free endpaper by the author. Unfortunately, the book is very well worn, with visible moisture damage to front and rear covers, as well as some disfiguring crayon on the title page, and at a few other points. Evidence of old pencil makrings erased on end-pages; some damage to rear end-page from separation after prior damp. But few signed copies are available, and it is the first printing.
