This copy has been rebound in a signed binding by Monique Lallier in later limp full crushed yellow morocco with red, blue, green, and brown morocco onlays with the title stamped in red on the front cover. Suede endsheets. The clamshell box is of an interlocking design with the title stamped on the front. A charming flower story written and illustrated by Walter Crane. The text is accompanied by forty colour illustrations showing the masque of flowers. Walter Crane is considered to be one of the most influential children's book writers of his generation. He contributed to the child's nursery motif of the late 19th century.
