ASIDE from scuffing to the top corners front and back, the jacket is Very Fine and unclipped (�14.99 net in UK only). The scuffs have been black inked over so the cover looks complete, but you can see the touch ups on the reverse of the jacket. The book has a ding to the top of the spine which can ONLY been seen if you remove the jacket, else is Fine with straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. The copyright page confirms the reissue in 1988. Approximately 3,000 copies were printed so this is an uncommon Herbert edition to find signed. Bestandsnummer des Verk�ufers 017031

I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. I do NOT offer cheap shipping and add it to the book price so please do not complain to me that Bob down the road offers cheaper postage. Sure he does - but the price of his book is hiked to reclaim it, or you're referring to a power seller who can negotiate postage discounts. I can't - I'm a private individual selling my private collection. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. ALL UK parcels are tracked. if you live outside the UK tracking is NOT provided unless you choose priority mail. PRIORITY MAIL TRACKING IS IMMEDIATELY UPDATED otherwise I will only update ABE with UK tracking details on request, and only when 10 working days has passed. There will be times when, due to the value of the book, I will insist on priority mail and this will be clearly stated in my listing. If you ignore this, your order will be refused.
