Signed and inscribed by the author: "This book brings heartiest good wishes and felicitations to B.J.F and his good wife from Betty and Leslie Bernard, Montreal Canada, September 22, 1934". No other ink marks to any page. Very light foxing to a handful of pages; pages otherwise clean and bright. The strong card with quarter buckram boards are very good, a little fading to spine and slight inward curving of corners. In its original, unclipped dust wrapper with a few marks, small tears and some darkening to spine, but still good and perfectly serviceable.
