Beschreibung
Folio. 603, [1]pp.Original pictorial wrappers over black cloth with silver lettering on front cover and spine. Pictorial endpapers. Half-title page signed by Curt Siodmak*. Fascinating work being a pictorial history of 70 years of Swiss cinematography, from its beginning in 1896 to 1965. This book is the result of 15 years of reseach by Hervà Dumont, Swiss historian of cinema. It is magnificently illustrated with hundreds of b/w and color photographs. Very minor creasing along edges of dust-jacket. Text in German. Dust-jacket, binding and interior in overall very good condition. *Curt Siodmak (August 10, 1902â "September 2, 2000) was a novelist and screenwriter. He made a name for himself in Hollywood with horror and science fiction films, most notably The Wolf Man and Donovan's Brain (the latter adapted from his novel of the same name). He was the brother of noir director Robert Siodmak. (From Wikipedia). Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 27971
