~Quarter black cloth, dark grey paper to boards. Gilt lettering to spine. Mild wear to front board, scuffing and small abrasion to rear board. Both boards creased across upper centre. Wear to edges and to base and top of spine. Small tear to centre spine over rear outer hinge (c. 3cm), with minor damage to spine lettering. Pencil inscription to inside front board. Inscription to front free endpaper of a poem by Vincent McNabb, 'The Heartease of the Soul' (not printed in this volume), dated 1943. Small label of St Dominic's Catholic Repository to inside rear board. Tiny amount of dampstaining to gutters of front and rear endpapers. Limited edition of 480 copies, this one unnumbered. Printed on hand-made, watermarked paper. Errata slip, printed in red, tipped in after title page: the four corrections have been neatly written in to the margins of the text proper, two in pen and two in pencil, possibly by McNabb as they are clearly beneficial.
