First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight and clean with lean. Boards clean, and sharp. Bumped to spine ends, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with very light toning edges, there are a couple of spots to the top edge. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels lightly read. Jacket is pretty tidy with some toning to the edges, and sunning to spine. Has some light handling marks to the panels, but retains it glossiness. Overall a very good copy. Signed and dedicated by Dickson to the title page. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A solid and still attractive example of this Dickson and Bova humorous novel, that is uncommon in the UK. Signed and dedicated to the title page by Dickson "To Roger / Gordon R Dickson", with many delightful illustrations by Kelly Freas. Comes with great provenance as this volume was obtained from the estate of Roger Earnshaw, SF collector, well known at British conventions and fandom, who often attended author signings.
