Printed simultaneously in the Yale Medical Journal. The recipient of the offprint was George Neil Stewart (not Steward, as HC wrote). He was the first director of the H. K. Cushing Laboratory of Experimental Medicine at Western Reserve in Cleveland. Fulton discusses Cushing's attendance at the dedication in 1908 of this laboratory, which was named after Cushing's father. William Henry Welch gave the principal address at the dedication.
