FIRST PRINTING of First UK Edition WITH postcard SIGNED by Lino Lacedelli loosely inserted. Original navy boards with silver lettering spine. The book is in fine condition with clean covers, no owner marks or writing, no fading, no foxing, tight binding, probably never read. The dust jacket is in fine condition with no rubbing, no tears, no soiling, no loss, no fading, original printed price still present on flap corner. The signed (hand-singed by Lacedelli, NOT printed) postcard minute very light soilig, strong signature, Italian stamp with special Cortina D'Ampezzo (Lacedelli's hometown) post office cancel commemorating the 20th anniversary of the first ascent (but actual cancel date is indecipherable). The photo side of the card depicts the same image as that on the front of the dust jacket. The rear side of the card is blank with no writing or marks.
