There is offsetting from one of these clippings to the final page of text, otherwise text is clean. Mild rubbing to corners and base of spine; binding sound. In the original, priced dust jacket, which is somewhat sun-faded and has some creasing and rubbing to the lower edge. The compelling account of the Third American Karakoram Expedition, during which the party--led by Houston--was trapped by a blizzard for nine days above 25,000 feet.
