f/piece (photo of full length portrait of Sir Charles Pratt, First Earl Camden by Reynolds)+xi+176, 7 further ill.plates ex-pagination; affectionate inscription from author to his parents, dates 27th March 1934, on front endpaper, otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked but faint edge tanning and occ.spot throughout. Black cloth covers, with gilt Camden arms centre front and gilt spine lettering clean and unworn bar slight touch of rubbing bottom spine and bottom outer corners; unclipped jacket clean but spine and edges lightly tanned and spine ends rubbed with a few small chips, will add protective sleeve when ordered. Slipped in book review from The Courier (Tunbridge Wells local paper) dated April 6th 1934, which mentions the central role in Eeles's work of family papers from local Camden home, Bayham Abbey.
