Chaix's first work of fiction - translated from French by her husband, novelist Harry Mathews, and signed by both in black ink to the front end-paper. Excellent, clean and well-bound copy. Dust-jacket shows faint rubbing to back panel, minor edge-wear throughout including a small closed tear to the top right of front panel and a tiny loss to top left corner of back panel - now in protective mylar.
