Three letters from Duncan to Douglas Maxwell. The first ms, on headed paper, dated 19. Jan 82, signed Ronnie, discussing publishing matters. The second typed, 13th may 1982, signed 'Ronnie' in pencil, complaining of poor sales etc. The third, short, signed 'Ronnin' in ink, 18th May 1982 'Thank you for your letter of the 17th, but I have to dictate a reply as I am far too ill to write by hand. Indeed my physical condition makes my literary concerns seem rather frivolous'. A copy of his obituary.
