First Edition. Tall octavo: 206 pp. Photo-illustrated throughout. Bound in half blue leather over marbled boards, with a short tear at the head of the spine which has started, some minor edge wear and bumped corners. Tight and clean internally, with many black & white photographic plates. SIGNED presentation by Vanderbilt, dated 1933 to Tudor Wilkinson, an American art collector who famously got Sylvia Beach freed from custody in Vichy France during the occupation.
