First Edition, First Printing with the words "PRINTED IN GREAT BRITIAN 1929" printed on the copyright page. T.H. White has written an eight line poem in green ink on the back pastedown endpaper entitled "Timothy." ".Then Arthur made strange banquets, and a knight from the four winds came in." Dated "21st - 26th May xxix." The book is in great shape with some wear to the edges. The binding is tight, with slight wear to the boards. The pages are clean with NO marks or bookplates in the book. Overall, a wonderful copy with an eight line handwritten poem by the author. Trades and offers considered.
