First edition, first printing. Publisher's original green cloth with silver titles on the spine. With illustrations by Shirley Hughes. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout. Light spotting to the upper and fore-edges of the page block. Small bumps to both spine tips. In the very good dustwrapper with two closed tears (c. 1 cm) with associated creasing to the lower edge of the front panel, and light creasing to the lower edge of the rear panel. Not price-clipped [10s. 6d. net]. A lovely copy. An adventure story about a man named Niall and his brother Ruairidh who were on their mission to find out the unknown thief on the island of Skye.
