Inscribed first Steven Kellogg-illustrated edition of this satirical poem about the consequences faced by a sneering little girl who loves to lie. Kellogg has written and/or illustrated more than one hundred children's books. He is a recipient of the Regina Medal for lifetime contribution to children's literature, and his books have won numerous awards such as the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award, the Irma Simonton Black Award, the IRA-CBC Children's Choice Award, and the Parents' Choice Award. In 2011 he donated his archive to the University of Findlay's Mazza Museum. 9.5'' x 5.75''. Original cloth boards. Original unclipped ($16.95) color pictorial dust jacket.
