Signed presentation from Nevins on the front endpaper, to the future mayor of Toledo, Ohio: "To Chas. M. Milroy, with the compliments of Nevin O. Winter. Toledo, Ohio. Feb. 11th, 1909." Milroy was a prominent lawyer in Toledo and a trustee of Toledo University. He was the city's mayor during 1916 and 1917.
