PO's name inside front cover. Inscriptions signed and dated by the author on the ffep. The condition of the book is fine except the inside hinges have cracked. "The preparation of the present volume is due largely to the inspiration of Brother Charles H. Spencer, who was long a member of Marshall Lodge, served the Lodge as its Master in 1936, and was for some years prior to his death the Custodian of the Lodge's Masonic Temple. Brother Spencer interested himself in the history and archives of the Lodge, unearthed many important documents and facts concerning its origins, and originated the plan for the publication of a detailed Lodge history. . The publication of the book in the year of Marshall Lodge's 160th anniversary is especially appropriate.".
