On its limitation page at front of the book is printed "This edition of MECCA/METTLE is limited to 300 numbered copies, all of which are signed by the editor, and the contributors. This is copy number [hand written] 177 [printed] of 300". Below that are 7 signatures: Alice Schmidt, Thomas M. Disch, Dr. J.M. McNulty, Prof. J.B. Stratton, Amb. Brent Carpenter, Sir Zachary Orgel, and Tim Kirk. Affixed to the pastedown inside the back cover is a sleeve holding a CD with 3 songs by the group Bloodhag, plus a reading by author Thomas M. Disch of his story "Mecca: A Vision of the Next Crusade". This book is in near fine condition, marred only by a light bump on the top of its spine. Its binding is tight and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with bright silver titles on its front and spine. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in fine condition: whole, bright, unmarked, and unworn. The included audio CD has been played, and is in "as new" condition.I will ship this book with its CD in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure they reach their new owner in the same condition as my description.
