232pp + vii prelims. Pale red cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. First edition with gift inscription by the author on ffep. Signed Pat (alias A. L. Barker) and dated Feb 1966. Touch of wear to tip of tail of spine. Light foxing to front end pages. Occasional tiny spots to top of pages at prelims. Otherwise clean and tightly bound. Turquoise and white unclipped dust jacket with maroon lettering. Sun toned spine. Wear to top edge and top of spine. Tiny tear to hinge of tail of rear flap. Now protected in clear plastic covers.
