First edition. Thin leather-covered boards; presentation copies were so bound. Arms of Harvard in gilt and blue on front cover. Presentation copy, inscribed at length to Marion Hill. Hill was a Boston-based novelist and appeared in some of the same magazines and anthologies that Bynner contributed to as a young writer. The inscription runs: "An Ode to Harvard and to Marion Hill, December, 1906" [note date year before date on title page], followed by a couplet, "Gladly I owed and gladly pay, and I sign my name with a will!" Good copy, tear near top of spine with a bit of loss to the leather at the right edge of the tear. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 4120
