Considering the book is now over 50yrs old it is in superb condition. It is NOT an ex-library book, it has NOT been remaindered, it is NOT price-clipped and is NOT foxed. On the inside of the DW is a stamped mark which reads, "FOR PUBLICATION ON 10 MARCH 1966 ANDRE DEUTSCH LTD". The book is tight and square and the pages are bright and clean. Laid in is a bookplate signed simply "CORMAC McCARTHY". The DW of this English edition is quite different to the US edition and much more colourful. A rare, special copy.
