SIGNED with brief inscription by the editor on front free endpaper. Octavo (9.25" x 6.5"); xiii, 261p. Extra-illustrated edition with numerous photographic plates, two fold-out maps, and officer/troop register appendices, all present. Green cloth with gilt lettering and troop emblem. Covers rubbed and bumped along edges, corners, and spine ends, with some superficial chewing to face and some general smudging and scuffing. Front board a bit shaky and book falls open easily to between a gatherings, but binding is holding. Previous owner's info label on front pastedown. Pages a bit toned as expected with some foxing to title page, but unmarked. Not an ex-library copy.
