An additional 26 signed, lettered copies were issued, as well as a deluxe, leather-bound issue of 52 copies. The definitive collection of Welty's acclaimed photographic work. Most of the photographs were taken in Mississippi during the Depression when Welty traveled the state as a writer for the W.P.A.
